Bournemouth have experienced a few difficult weeks under Andoni Iraola. His emphasis on high -pressing and direct football is evident, although the results have not been in their favor so far. They are yet to secure a victory, a challenge exacerbated by a fixture list that included games against Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea, Brighton & Hove Albion, and now Arsenal within their first seven matches.
In a bid to secure an unlikely three points, Iraola made just one change to the lineup from the previous week’s loss to Brighton. Neto started in goal, with Max Aarons, Illia Zabarnyi, Marcos Senesi (replacing Lloyd Kelly), and Milos Kerkez forming the back four. Philip Billing, Lewis Cook, and Ryan Christie occupied the midfield, while Dominic Solanke was flanked by Marcus Tavernier and Justin Kluivert.
Arsenal, on the other hand, are on the back of a somewhat disappointing draw against their rivals, Tottenham Hotspur. While there have been concerns about their attacking patterns, Mikel Arteta’s men remain undefeated this season, trailing league leaders Manchester City by just four points.
Despite mounting injuries, Arteta opted to make just one change to the starting lineup, with David Raya retaining his place in goal. The defensive unit consisted of Ben White, William Saliba, Gabriel Magalhães, and Oleksandr Zinchenko . . .
