On a rain-soaked Sunday at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino, Inter Milan secured a crucial 2-0 victory over Torino. The victory left Inter on 77 points with Napoli at the top of the table on 78 points with just one point separating the pair after this game and with two matches remaining. This win kept Simone Inzaghi’s side firmly in the title race. Torino, sitting adrift in mid-table in 11th with 44 points, aimed to play spoiler but struggled to match Inter’s tactical discipline and clinical finishing.
