Bodø/Glimt – Tottenham Hotspur: Scrappy Spurs Salvage A Point (2-2)

This clash was a contest between clubs at the opposite ends of their processes. Spurs spoiled a special night for Scandinavian football, but Thomas Frank felt far more uncomfortable back on Nordic soil than he should have done as his group ground their way to with a point by full time.

Tactical analysis and match report by Emmanuel Adeyemi-Abere.

Bodø/Glimt have given many memories to fans of Norwegian football, putting their country on the map. From the 6-1 thrashing of Roma in the Conference League in 2021 to a historic run to the semi-final of the Europa League this year, the club have been building over the best part of eight years with head coach, Kjetil Knutsen. Now, the club can enjoy their first Champions League campaign, hoping to walk away from this meeting with a win to mark what was already a historic encounter at home.

Tottenham Hotspur have enjoyed a strong start to life under Thomas Frank. They have only suffered one defeat, against Bournemouth, ripped apart Manchester City on their turf, and battled back to a 2-2 draw away at Brighton in their most complete performance of the campaign.
