A summer of success for Spain at the EUROs has not satiated the nation. After a goalless stalemate with the Serbs at the start of September, three straight victories in the Nations League have wrapped up one of the eight spots in the next phase of the competition. They have already earned ten points and can seal first place in their group with a draw in this outing. That would be a probable outcome: the players have not suffered any defeats in a competitive fixture since their trip to Scotland in 2023.
