Through the lens of the Champions League, all had appeared fine for Inter and Arsenal. Both went into this game unbeaten without conceding a goal, but neither were in the best of moods.

Red cards have not helped, although that does not change the fact that two of their three right-sided regulars have been unavailable, and Arteta not opting to pick players of similar profiles to fulfil their roles.
