The team appeared fatigued during this crucial phase of the season, where they are up against some of the league's top teams. Additionally, their bench has struggled to provide the necessary support, with only one decisive goal coming from non-starters so far.

On the other hand, Fiorentina is beginning to regain their autumn form, when they secured several consecutive wins and climbed into the top four of the league. The winter transfer market has been particularly effective for them, providing the manager with much-needed reinforcements, especially in the midfield. Key additions like Fagioli, Zaniolo, and Folorounsho have bolstered the squad, aiming to maintain their momentum.
