Arsenal – Chelsea: A Boring, Bland Derby Day (1-0)
These two clubs from the capital city have reveled in feisty affairs but this derby was a low-key contest. One outfit lack the firepower for the elite level, while the other has looked any sign of a spark as the season has unfolded. There will be much on the minds of both managers to ponder.

Arsenal are staring at another trophyless season. A 1-1 draw at Old Trafford at the worst Manchester United outfit of the Premier League era exemplified how the side has struggled for invention and intention in the final third. It marked the third match in a row that the team has failed to win in the league and as league leaders Liverpool look to count down the days until they can lift the trophy, the Gunners give the rest of the chasing pack a chance to close down the gap in the race for the top four.
Chelsea continue to waver in the skirmish for elite European football. Enzo Maresca refused to accept the team were in the title race at the start of December. Fast forward three more months and the squad has stumbled down the standings, failing to win any of their last six away league outings.
