Antonio Conte’s Napoli managed a 2-0 away win at the San Siro. Two goals in the first half from Romelu Lukaku & Khvicha Kvaratskhelia gave Napoli the victory as they strengthened their position at the top of the Serie A table leaving Milan biting the dust.

Few teams can boast a renaissance like Napoli from last season to this one. Antonio Conte has managed a remarkable turnaround at the Naples club in a short span of time. Last season’s 10th-place finish seems like a furlong ago now as this side under his stewardship looks ruthless & inspired. Eyebrows were raised by some sections of the media questioning whether Cone could turn this floundering Napoli team around after last season’s debacle of a mid-table finish but Conte has gone about his work in assured & implacable fashion.
In comparison, Milan are very much in the doldrums. They’ve found it difficult to assert themselves in games & languish in eighth place in Serie A. Despite dominating possession for large spells against Napoli they succumbed to a 2-0 loss at home under the lights of the San Siro.
The San Siro has its own atmosphere & formidable ferocity from the Milan set of fans.
