Eintracht Frankfurt are back in one of their stronger phases of recent times. After a sixth placed finish in their first year with Dino Toppmöller, the team briefly flirted with the top of the Bundesliga and wrapped up third position at the end of the 2024/25 campaign. Big names have left their camp, but they remain competitive with two wins from their first three fixtures in the new domestic season.
If Frankfurt are the team to keep an eye on for the talent of tomorrow, Galatasaray continue to house some of the stars of yesteryear. It is an approach that has kept them at the top of the tree in Turkey for the last three years, but the challenge is to convert that dominance into impact in Europe.
