Manchester City – Arsenal: A Dramatic Game Of Attack Versus Defense (2-2)

Pep Guardiola’s side started this game extremely well with aggressive pressing and slick passing, and were rewarded with an early goal. Arsenal managed to turn things around before half time though, before a red card set up a second half played entirely in Arsenal’s third of the pitch, eventually resulting in John Stones’ late equalizer.

One of the key fixtures in the Premier League calendar arrived this weekend, as Manchester City hosted Arsenal. Both teams had started the season with four wins from four matches in the league, with Arsenal overcoming the likes of Aston Villa and Tottenham Hotspur, while City’s most notable victory was on the opening weekend, against Chelsea. Neither side was able to find the net in Europe this week though, as Arsenal drew against Atalanta, and City were held by Inter.
