The fight for the 2025/26 UEFA Champions League qualification is on the same level of entertainment as the fight for LaLiga's title. Everything is at stake between Athletic Club, Villarreal, and Real Betis, with the odds leaning more toward the Basque team.
Since the eighth of February, Real Betis have been defeatless in the Spanish league. Seven games without a loss, in which they stood invincible against LaLiga's top two teams. Manuel Pellegrini's men tarnished Real Madrid at Villamarin Stadium, and they went to Barcelona's turf, where they put a dent in Hansi Flick's road to expand the points difference with the Los Blancos.
Since the start of the season, the Yellow Submarines have been steadfastly digging their way back to European competitions next season. After the Premier League teams' splendid performances in the international fixtures, they secured an extra spot for the 2025/26 UEFA Champions League campaign. The odds seem to favor LaLiga to snatch the other available place, and Villarreal cannot afford to let the opportunity to return to the UCL slip in front of their eyes.
